Rigid Box and Book Cover Assembly Machines
Short answer
Book-style and magnetic-closure boxes are made in two parts, an inner rigid box and an outer hardcover case, which are then glued together. The HF-8288 does this automatically and the HF-808 semi-automatically, both at 15–22 pcs/min.
Overview
The last step of a book-style box.
A book-style box is made as two finished parts. The hardcover case forms the base, spine and lid, and usually carries the magnet and iron sheet that close it. The inner box is a wrapped greyboard tray, made like the base of a lid-and-base box. Assembly glues the tray onto the case, square to its edges, and presses the two together.
Both machines here do that at 15–22 pieces per minute. The HF-8288 is the automatic version, a line 5.55 m long. The HF-808 is a semi-automatic station 3.2 m long. Glue is laid on the case before assembly, by hand or by a glue spray machine such as the HF-600.
