Paper Card Box Forming Machines
Short answer
These machines form flat 210–350 g card blanks into lids, bases and trays, without greyboard. The single-station HF-4350 runs 17–23 pcs/min. The double-station HF-3250 forms a lid and a base at the same time at 34–46 pcs/min.
Overview
A box from one piece of card, with no greyboard.
A paper card box is formed from a single die-cut blank. The forming machine takes a blank from the stack, folds the four walls up, forms the corners and delivers the finished lid, base or tray on a conveyor. There is no greyboard shell and no wrapping paper, which makes it the faster and lighter alternative to a rigid box for cakes, desserts and hardware.
Both machines form 210–350 g/m² white cardboard, kraft paper and similar board, and both are refilled about every 40–50 minutes. They differ in the number of forming stations. The HF-4350 has one. The HF-3250 has two, fed from two material tables, so it forms a lid and its base at the same time.

FAQ
Which machines are in the HORFON paper card box forming machines range?
2 machines: HF-4350 Automatic Paper Box Forming Machine (Single Station); HF-3250 Automatic Paper Box Forming Machine (Double Station).
What is the difference between the HF-4350 and the HF-3250?
The HF-4350 has one forming station, takes larger boxes (up to 400 × 350 × 100 mm) and runs 17–23 pcs/min. The HF-3250 has two stations and two material tables, so it forms a lid and a base together at 34–46 pcs/min, for boxes up to 350 × 250 × 80 mm.
What material do paper box forming machines take?
White cardboard, kraft paper and similar board of 210–350 g/m². They do not form greyboard.
How often does the machine need refilling?
About every 40–50 minutes. The HF-4350 holds a 0.6 m stack on a lifting platform and the HF-3250 holds 0.5 m on each of its two tables.
What comes before the forming machine?
Die cutting. The printed sheet is cut and creased into blanks on a machine such as the HF-1100, a platen die cutter with an 1100 × 800 mm die frame.
