Short answer
A drawer box, also called a slipcase box, is a deep and narrow rigid box: for example 350 mm long and 320 mm high but as little as 35 mm wide, like the slipcase a book slides into. Ordinary wrapping machines cannot make boxes narrower than about 50 mm, so it is made on dedicated machines. The board is V-grooved, formed into shape in one pass, and the paper is then folded in and pressed.

03 — Machines used
A rigid box that is deep and narrow: much taller and longer than it is wide. The HF-320 forms standard sizes from 35 × 35 × 100 mm to 350 × 120 × 320 mm (length × width × height). A width of 35 mm is the practical lower limit.
The HF-320 forms 600–1000 drawer boxes per hour. The HF-320A, which folds the paper in and presses it, runs 800–1200 pieces per hour.
Yes. It takes boxes from 40 × 40 × 15 mm and is often paired with an older wrapping machine that cannot make boxes narrower than 50 mm.
