Box type 01 · 5 steps

Collapsible rigid box — ships flat and folds up into a rigid box.

Short answer

A collapsible (foldable) rigid box is delivered flat and folded into shape by the packer, which cuts freight and storage volume. It is built from a hardcover case that forms the base, back and lid, and two side wings with triangle cardboard that fold inward. Five steps make it: cardboard cutting, V grooving, hardcover case making, side wing wrapping and collapsible box assembly.

FAQ

Which machine assembles a collapsible rigid box?

The HF-1150. It sprays glue on the finished case, places both side wings by vision-guided robotic arm, pastes the triangle cardboard and folds the box, at 15–20 pcs/min for cases from 400 × 150 mm to 1150 × 500 mm.

How are the side wings of a collapsible box made?

On the HF-8020, which positions the wing cardboard and triangle cardboard on the glued paper by camera to ±0.1 mm, then wraps and creases the wing at 20–30 sheets/min. The compact HF-800D wraps side wings at 19–25 pcs/min where positioning is done separately.
